I have a career spanning over 23 years dedicated to nurturing and educating children. For the past two decades, I have had the honour of working in mainstream primary schools, where I've contributed significantly to the growth and development of young minds. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of serving as the Headteacher of a Single Academy Trust in Trafford. My commitment to excellence in education is further underscored as a scholar of The National College for School Leaders and my completion of the "Becoming a CEO in Education" accreditation.

Additionally, I have actively collaborated with trust and school leaders in driving school improvement initiatives, across several local authorities. My educational philosophy is centred on the belief that every child deserves access to a high-quality education that empowers them to reach their full potential. I am a firm advocate for inclusive education, where diverse abilities and backgrounds are celebrated, and each child's unique strengths are harnessed.

I am a Fellow of the Institute of legal Executives having worked as a real estate lawyer in the legal profession for over 40 years. I continue to work with a law firm on matters relating to compliance but since 2010 I have worked with an academy conversion specialist based in the North West as a project lead assisting schools to set up or form part of Single or Multi-Academy Trusts. This involves working closely with the schools in understanding the procedures to set up the Trust, as well as supporting the Trusts Solicitors who they have instructed to deal with the legal work relating to the land.

Until recently I was Chair of Trustees with a Single Academy Trust and am on the Board of Members for a number of Multi Academy Trusts as an overseer and adviser to the Board of Trustees. I was part of the school Governance for many years before standing down. When I am not working, I am an avid follower of Liverpool FC and spend as much time as I can fishing.
