We named our Trust after a Headteacher who was retiring. He had devoted his whole life to service. He was dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable children in society. He cared passionately for others and went above and beyond to help those who needed him the most. These were all the qualities we wanted for our Trust. So out of respect for what he had achieved and for what we wanted to achieve, we named our Trust, The Kings Academy Trust.
When we looked at a logo for the Trust, we chose the tree as it symbolised new life. In joining our Trust schools are starting a new journey with us. And the roots of a tree run deep. We work hard to make sure we lay strong foundations, build things from the grass roots up and connect with people and organisations in a meaningful and productive way. We believe a strong tree, with strong roots symbolises the values we hold dear.
