Oakwood Academy has been named Educational Establishment of the Year at The Education Resources Awards 2026!
This is a huge achievement and a real testament to the dedication, care, and professionalism shown by every single member of staff across our school.
The judges’ comments, which were read out on the evening, make it clear just how special our community is:

This recognition belongs to all of you. It reflects the relentless focus on doing the very best for our pupils—day in, day out.
The award organisers have confirmed that our success will be shared nationally across ERA, NAHT and nasen platforms, and featured on their website over the next 12 months.
